At Schnider Funeral Home, we can handle all types of services. See below brief descriptions of the most common service packages we offer. These can be tailored to whatever extent you wish to meet your unique and personal needs.

Traditional Funeral Service

Includes a full funeral service at a church or location of your choosing with the body present and Schnider Funeral Home staff members in attendance, a register book, memorial folders, burial at a cemetery or crypt, documentation handling, and permits. This can also include visitation and/or vigil service prior to the service.

Traditional Funeral Service Followed by Cremation

The same as the Traditional Funeral Service listed above but followed by cremation instead of burial.

Cremation with a Memorial Service

Includes a full memorial service at a church or location of your choosing with the ashes present or not present and Schnider Funeral Home staff members in attendance, a register book, memorial folders, burial at a cemetery or crypt, documentation handling, and permits. This can also include visitation and/or vigil service.

Direct Cremation, No Memorial Service

Includes all documentation handling and permits and the cremation of the deceased.

Graveside Service

Includes all documentation handling, permits, and burial of body at a cemetery or crypt with a service.

Forwarding of Remains to Another Funeral Home

If the death occurs locally and the family chooses to have a service or burial in another location, we can do the embalming and facilitate transportation to the other funeral home.

Receiving Remains from Another Funeral Home

If the death occurs in another location and the family chooses to bury the deceased locally, we can receive and shelter the remains and process necessary documentation and permits for the burial.
