Ardith Bryant

Ardith Rose Bryant, 73, of Great Falls, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at New Life in Choteau. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Ardith was born on November 9, 1942 to Woodrow and Isabel (Carrier) Ameline. She was the oldest of five children and went to Choteau schools. She married Robert Bryant on January 6, 1960. They had three children, Kaylee (Karl) Kalista, Arleen Hibbard, and Robert Bryant. She worked at Teton County Nursing Home and also did private nursing home care. She divorced in 1986 and moved to Great Falls. She went back to school, completed her GED. Then went to Great Falls Vo-Tech and earned her Associates Degree for accounting. She went to work for Campfire Girls. When she wasnt able to work, she enjoyed being a foster grandparent at several Great Falls schools for over ten years.She enjoyed all kinds of crafts (especially Native American jewelry), word puzzles, and pistol quick draw in her younger years. Many people received and enjoyed her handmade clothing and crafts. She loved family genealogy, dancing, and going camping. She got great joy taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids.She will be remembered by all the people she cared for.Ardith is survived by her siblings, Woodrow (Julie) Ameline, Linda (Jack) OLoughlin, Sandra (Ronald) Lindgren, and Rudy (Diane) Ameline; step-siblings Ronald, Randy, and Perri Lindgren, Sandra Brewster, and Shirley VandenBos; six grandchildren, Rob, Bret, Nathan, Evan, Shanel and Tyler; and ten great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Isabel Ameline; step-mother Ethel Red Ameline; step-brother Dennis Lindgren; former spouse and friend, Bob Bryant; and baby brother Timothy.
