Arlan Butler

Arlan Maurice Butler, 70, of Great Falls, passed away at Peace Hospice on Sunday, December 18, 2016.Arlan was known around town in later years as the coffee man and the red hat man.Arlan was born to Maurice and Olive Butler on October 6, 1946 in South Dakota. After his father died, Arlan moved to Great Falls, MT with his mother. He graduated from Great Falls High School and after graduation he served in the Army from September 7, 1967 and was discharged in September 1, 1973. After returning home, Arlan worked as kitchen help for various businesses until he retired in 2015.Arlan was survived by sister, Lula (Gene) McDunn of Great Falls; brothers Don (Jo) Butler of FL, Allen (Linda) Butler of FL, Robert (Della) of CA; 5 nieces; and 2 nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and a step brother.
