Ayla Cladouhos-Powell

Ayla Taylor Powell, 19, passed away in her Great Falls home on Thursday, October 27, 2016.A private family burial service will be held on Thursday, November 3rd, followed by a community Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5th at First United Methodist Church in Great Falls.Ayla came into this world on July 15, 1997 in Ukiah, California. She was raised in Great Falls, MT and received her high school diploma in 2015. She worked at a variety of fast food establishments during her teen years, with a goal of beginning college courses in the spring of 2017. Ayla had been considering a career as a veterinary technician or assistant, but really had so many options open to her. She exhibited musical, literary, and artistic talent, spending hours-on-end improvising songs, writing stories, painting, or drawing.She loved to read, and was a Star Wars fanatic. Ayla had a big heart, and loved to give special cards and gifts to the people she loved. She had a vibrant personality and a great sense of humor, and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. She believed in God, and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.Ayla is survived by her beautiful young son, Mathias Xavier Powell; adoptive parents Larry and Roberta Powell; natural parents Lori Taylor and Malachi Clemmons; siblings, Justin (Carmen) Powell, Nick Powell, and Michael and Tessa (a.k.a. Alya) Snider; grandparents Pete and Doris Cladouhos and grandmother Jackie Bogden; as well as many, many special aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her dearly.Ayla was preceded in death by her beloved grandfather, Daniel Bogden.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mathias Powell Benefit Account, C/O Montana Federal Credit Union, PO Box 5027, Great Falls, MT 59403.
