Betty Jo Dahlin

Betty Jo BJ Tague Dahlin, 83, of Great Falls, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2013.At her request, no services are planned.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Betty Jo BJ was born to Everett and Irene Tague on December 15, 1929 in Lewistown, Montana. Betty grew up in Lewistown until high school when the family moved to Choteau, MT. She was a cheerleader in high school, graduating in 1948.After high school she graduated from San Francisco Dental Nursing School.In 1949, Betty married her high school sweetheart, C.L. Bub Dahlin.They were married for 64 years and had twn sons, Keith Dahlinof Olympia, WA and Kenneth Dahlin of Bonney Lake, WA.They lived in Helena and Great Falls where Bub was a State Farm agent for 38 years.After retirement, they spent winters in the Palm Springs area.Betty loved to cook, paint, and play golf at Meadow Lark Country Club.She also loved to ski, grow roses, and raising her boys.BJ is survived by her husband, C.L. Bub Dahlin; sons Keith and Ken; sister Sandra Turnbull; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Irene Tague; and brother Ken Tague.Memorials in BJs name may be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th Str.
