Bonita Bonnie Jane Given (formerly married to Donald Charles Ingels), 84, of Great Falls, lost her battle with a brain tumor on April 17, 2015. She passed in her sleep shortly after two of her sisters, her children, their spouses and several of her grandchildren came to visit her.Private family services will be held at a later date. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.She was born Dec 1st, 1930 in Marcus, Iowa to her loving parents, Josiah and Florence (Scott) Given. She graduated from Bemidji High School, Bemidji, Minnesota in 1948 and later went on to nursing school, becoming an RN working in Granite Falls, Minnesota and Helena. She founded the Ghost Art Gallery in Helena. She was an avid keeper of family genealogy and always loved sharing it with family and friends.She is survived by her sisters, Mary Lou (John) Johnson, Jo Ann (Roy) Kemink, Nancy Sue (V. Ralph) Allen, and Lynn (John) Stram and her brother Paul; children, Bruce (Heidi) of Helena, Paul (Merry) of Atlanta, GA, Gretchen (Neil) Swift of Great Falls, Daren of Great Falls, and Annette (Brett) Connelly of Montrose, CO.Bonnie was preceded in death by her brothers Allen and Robert and her sister Bernadette.Her greatest legacy can be told by her grandchildren. There is no such thing as a generation gap unless you allow it.
