Bradley Keith Clausen, of Great Falls, Montana, passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 71. He was born on January 8, 1955, in Bagley, Minnesota. At a young age, Brad moved to Great Falls, where he grew up and developed a lifelong love for baseball. He spent many years playing the game, where he started out in the little league and graduated to the Babe Ruth league. His passion for baseball continued throughout his life, and he remained a devoted Seattle Mariners fan.
Baseball wasn’t just a game to Brad – it was one of the ways he spent time with the people he loved. He took his grandchildren, Hailey, Riley, and Hannah, to countless Voyagers baseball games, and after each Voyager victory they would go to McDonalds for Big Macs. Those trips became some of their favorite memories together. He also never missed one of his grandsons, Joey and Dylan’s basketball games and loved cheering them on.
The holidays he spent with his family were one of his favorite times of the year, as he always brought the pies and his famous shrimp. Brad was the life of the party, and everyone looked forward to seeing him. At those special gatherings, he earned the nickname “The Candy Man” because he loved sharing goodies with everyone, especially with his great niece Addalyn. She idolized and loved him as they shared sweets he stashed for her, talking and laughing.
Brad loved his children and, in his own way, cared deeply for each of them. He spoke often of them with pride and carried love for them throughout his life, even through the ups and downs that came with family relationships. No matter the distance or circumstances at times, his connection with his children remained an important part of who he was. He treasured every opportunity to spend time with them, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and those moments meant the most to him.
He is survived by his children; Jill Clausen, Jarrid Clusen, Janelle Clausen (Jake Peak), Jessica (Dave) Zako-Sano, Meagan Clausen, Eric Clausen, and Brandon Clausen; grandchildren; Joey (Abby) Marzion, Dylan Marzion, Hailey (Tony) Atencio, Riley Cluasen, Landon Hofer, Hannah Houle, Hayden Houle, and Harper Houole; great-grandchildren: Addalee Marzion; siblings: Bruce Clausen, Vickie Carter, Valerie (Rick) Tipps, Tammie (Han) Armanazy, and Trudy (Jimmy) Clausen-Hamann; and many nieces and nephews.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Dolores Clausen, and beloved son Jeffrey, who passed away just one year before him. Losing Jeffrey was one of the greatest heartbreaks of Brad’s life. While that loss stayed with him every day, there is comfort in knowing they have been reunited. Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes peace in knowing he is once again with his son and those who went before him.
