Brian Williams, 44, of Great Falls, passed away from natural causes on April 2, 2017.He is survived by his wife, Shelby Williams; son Kail Williams; daughter Chloe Williams; mother Diana Williams, all of Great Falls, Montana; sister Jana (Corey) Baker of Denver, CO; grandmothers Loretta Huttinger of Great Falls, MT and Barbara Lappin of Salt Lake City, UT; and many other relatives and numerous close friends.Brian Williams was born to Thomas and Diana Williams in Great Falls, Montana on October 18, 1972 and there began his love for the outdoors and his family. Brian grew up in Great Falls, MT going to school at Lewis and Clark Elementary, East Junior High, and Great Falls High School. While in school, Brian devoted a lot of time to the sport of football, lettering and graduating in 1991. During this time he always found a way to be out hunting or fishing with his father. He met the love of his life, Shelby in 1995. They were blessed with a handsome baby boy, Kail in October of 1996. Brian always said his son was his late birthday present. In 1997, the family moved to Havre, MT so Brian could obtain his Registered Nursing education. During that time they were also blessed with a beautiful baby girl in July of 1998, Chloe, who has always been his little girl. Brian graduated nursing school from Montana State University-Northern and obtained his RN license in 2000. That year, he and his family moved home to Great Falls and Brian began work at Benefis Hospital on the Ortho/Neuro floor and remained there for ten years. Seven years ago, he began his nursing care at Missouri River Manor, where he worked his last twelve hour shift on Sunday, April 2. Brian was an avid hunter, fisherman, mountain moving hiker, and loving son, brother, husband, and father. Whenever Brian was not working he was out in the mountains shed hunting, wild game hunting during archery and rifle season, fishing, and sharing those hobbies with his family, especially his kids. We do believe Brian was most happy when he got to teach and witness his kids enjoy hunting just as much as he did. Brian was very proud of his kids, happily married, and blessed with an amazing family and many great friends.Brian is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Williams. They are now reunited in their secret hunting grounds.Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Schnider Funeral Home, 1510 13th St. S.
