Briella Renee Gladue

April 6, 1987 — May 14, 2026

Great Falls

Briella Renee Shanaver was born on April 6, 1987, in Trenton, Michigan, to Donald Shanaver and Candice (Day) Shanaver. She spent her early childhood in Minot before moving with her family to Great Falls.

Briella was, above all else, a loving mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend. She welcomed her son, Blake Bugg, on June 13, 2007, and her daughter, Adelyn Bugg, on September 25, 2012. Her children were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Whether it was family time at home, small adventures together, or simply sharing laughter in everyday moments, Briella made those around her feel deeply loved and cared for.

She found love with Justin on September 29, 2022. Their relationship quickly became one built on love, partnership, and dreams for the future. They became engaged on May 4, 2024, married on January 10, 2025, and in February of 2025, proudly purchased their home together — a place Briella filled with warmth, comfort, and happiness.

Briella had a creative spirit and a heart that could make anyone feel welcome. She loved crafting, gardening, coloring, binge-watching television shows, antiquing, and hunting for treasures at garage sales. She especially cherished time spent with her children, Justin, family, and friends.

Anyone who knew Briella knew her kindness. She was thoughtful, empathetic, caring, and always willing to listen or help someone in need. She also adored her pets — her dogs, Sadie, Ruby, and Oscar, her cat, Luna, and her beloved dog Moose, who preceded her in death.

Briella dedicated 7 ½ years of her professional life to Rocky Front Counseling Services, where she worked as an office manager. She took pride in her work and built meaningful relationships with coworkers and clients alike.

She is survived by her husband, Justin Gladue; children, Blake Bugg and Adelyn Bugg; parents, Candice (Day) Shanaver and Donald (Jody) Shanaver; sisters, Amy Garrioch and Erin Gratzl (Matthew Gratzl); and nieces and nephews, Kolton, Kenadie, and Karter Garrioch, Carson and Caleb Gratzl, Jared Coen, Addison Gladue, and Damien and Eli Gladue.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfathers, Gerald Shanaver and Irvin Taylor; maternal grandfather, Vernon Day; maternal aunt, Carmen (Day) Fedorenko; stepfather, Wade Cooper; and beloved dog, Moose.

Briella leaves behind a space that can never truly be filled, but also countless memories, laughter, love, and moments that will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
