Carol Ann LaRocque, 71, of Great Falls, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018. A vigil service will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. A funeral liturgy will be at Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery in Havre. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Carol was born on July 22, 1946 in Belcourt, North Dakota to James and Anna (Aiken) LaRocque. She moved to Havre with her family and graduated from Havre High School. She studied cosmetology at Dahl’s School of Beauty where she got her cosmetologist license. She was a cosmetologist for 5 years before getting her Bachelor’s degree. Once she received her degree she became a social worker. She was a social worker with the state of Montana until her retirement in 2012. She was a volunteer at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, as well as a crisis line volunteer. She was a member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and would get together with her retirement group, RSVP. She loved garage saling, music, playing drums and guitar. Carol is survived by her son, Stephen Michael LaRocque of Great Falls; sisters Gaye (Tony) Kohler of Missoula and Darlene (Ron) Knutson of Great Falls; brother Larry (Ellorene) LaRocque of Simms; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Anna LaRocque;brothers, Harvey, Gene, David, Harold, and Robert LaRocque; and sisters Jan Goodman and Delores Helm.
