Craig Michael Curtis, 48, of Great Falls, passed away on Tuesday, August 9 , 2016 of unknown causes.Craig was born on September 27, 1967 in Great Falls. He was raised in Great Falls and Vaughn, and graduated from Simms High School. Shortly after graduation he began working for Albertsons, he worked there for 25+ years. Craig also worked at the Flamingo Bar.He was an avid outdoorsman. Most of his free time was spent at his cabin outside Lincoln with his brother, Ronnie. Craig enjoyed hunting, gambling, and being with his friends and family who he cherished. Craig was also the Sectary/Treasurer of the UFCW Local 8 union, a position he took great pride in.Craig was the type of person who would put your needs before his own and he often did. He was a wonderful father, companion, brother, and friend to so many. With his passing there will be a hole in our hearts forever.Craig is survived by the light of his life, his son Tucker Curtis; and long-time companion Danielle May of Great Falls. Also two step children of Great Falls; brothers Tracy (Miriam) Curtis of Connecticut, Roger (Dawn) Curtis of Valier, Ronnie Curtis of Great Falls, and Randie (Mary) Curtis of Great Falls; sisters Cindie (James) Baker of Billings, Tammie (Mike) Blow of Great Falls, and Cheryl (Garry) Hackett of Great Falls; aunt Lynne (Bill) Lemire of Great Falls; adopted sister, Krystal Erb of Great Falls; adopted father, Dick Zadick of Great Falls; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. There were so many people that he held dear to his heart.Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Marian Curtis of Great Falls.A celebration of Craig's life will be held at the Flamingo Bar September 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Montana Federal Credit Union, C/0 Tucker Curtis 15 14th St. S., Great Falls, MT 59401 for Tucker's college education.
