Danny "Boone" Dan Ridgeley

Danny “Boone” Dan Ridgeley, 72, of Great Falls passed away on November 1, 2022.

Dan was born on August 28, 1950, in Red Oak, Iowa, to Edward and Betty (Magers) Ridgeley. He attended his first four years of elementary school in Iowa. The family then moved to Great Falls. Dan graduated from Great Falls High in 1969. After graduation, he attended (MSC) now MSU for part of a year. In the years following, he was a carpenter working with several building contractors. Dan then worked for Great Falls public schools as a carpenter and then grounds department the last three years before he retired.

Dan was an avid hunter and sportsman. He was an active member of the Great Falls Trap Club. He loved camping and visiting with people everywhere he went.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marlys; son, Jeff “Jazz”; stepson, Kirk Johnson; three grandchildren; sisters, Jackie (Brett) Tracy and Brenda (Rene) Peck; brothers-in-law, Butch (Jill) Stepan, Robbie Stepan and Richie Stepan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and wife, Georgean.

A memorial service will be held on November 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be made to Medallion Hospice (425 1 ^st Avenue North, Great Falls) or the Humane Society of Cascade County.
