Darwin Quentin Mang, age 68, of Great Falls, died suddenly at his home Saturday, August 13, 2016.Darwin grew up on the Fairfield Bench where he lived with his parents, Frank Quentin Mang and Ethel Mang on the family dairy farm. He attended Fairfield High School and Montana State University before serving in the Navy and being deployed to Vietnam. He spent most of his working years in the plumbing and HVAC business, owning two of his own stores in San Diego, CA.As a teenager he was active in DeMolay. He loved fishing, his horses, and missionary work. He was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and liked nothing more than to share the story of his conversion. He was a good son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and he will be missed.He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Diane Gurnsey.Darwin leaves behind his wife, Sue Mang; children Keith, Denise, Shane, Kyle, Garet, and Sara; two step children, Micah and Rebecca; and 12 grandchildren.We look forward to the time when we will all be together again.Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2016 at Schnider Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on August 20, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the LDS Stake Center, 1401 9th Street NW, Great Falls. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Fairfield.
