Delores Dee White, 77, of Great Falls, was called by the Lord to be with her daughter on January 10, 2017. She passed away peacefully with her husband at her side while in Peace Hospice. She had suffered the past few years with cancer, heart problems and lung issues.Dee was born in Lewistown, Montana on November 14, 1939 to George and Liz Vogl. She attended St. Leos School in Lewistown and graduated in 1957. She then attended St. Marys College for one year and moved to Great Falls in 1960. Dee worked for the George L. Tracy Co. for a few years. She met her future husband, Everett Butch White in 1962. They were married on June 6, 1964. They had two daughters, Christine Watson of Richland, WA and Michelle White, who passed away on November 8, 2016. Dee is also survived by one grandchild, Julia Watson.The family moved to Butte, Montana in 1972 and then to Gillette, WY in 1984. While in Butte, Dee worked at Normans Ranchware and J&J clothing. In Gillette, she worked for Worthen Van and then became a real estate agent. She worked in Real Estate until her husband retired and they moved back to Great Falls in 1999.Dee started quilting soon after moving to Great Falls. She always had an urge to keep busy and her sewing was something she loved to do and was very good at it. She made many beautiful quilts including quilts for Comforters for Kids and small Bear Quilts. She spent many hours at her sewing machine.She and her husband spent many winters in Texas and Arizona. One of her favorite things was to go through Glacier Park.Dee was a very friendly lady and enjoyed visiting with her many friends.
