Denise Ann Arndt, 56, passed away July 17, 2013 at her home in Great Falls of a heart attack.A viewing will be held one hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 27, with interment to follow in Highland Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Denise was born May 29, 1957 in Great Falls, to Jim and Bonnie Arndt of Great Falls. She spent her entire life in Great Falls attending grade school, junior high, and graduating from Great Falls High School in 1975. She went on to attend the College of Great Falls receiving degrees in Sociology and Psychology. She was a member of the National Honor Society. While in college she worked full time and raised her young daughter.She went to work for the Job Service after college and was there for 12 years working with and starting programs to help the community. She worked for R.E.O. and Gateway Recovery for a period. Her current employment was with the Office of "public" Assistance, assisting the elderly and disabled.Denise enjoyed gardening, wood working, painting and most crafts. She had many pets and loved them all.Her greatest love of all has always been her two daughters, Tracy Arndt and Megan Arndt of Great Falls. She is survived by her parents; daughters; sisters, Kelly Arndt of Great Falls, Jennifer Arndt of Missoula and Tammy Lesmiester of Great Falls; brothers, Mark (Darcy) Arndt of Conrad, Gary (Marci) Arndt of Great Falls, Dan (Jeri) Arndt of Marysville, WA, Bill (Joey) Arndt of Portland, OR and Andre (Chris) Mehan of Kalispell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Some very special people in her life include: Amanda Hendrix of Great Falls, Casey Hendrix of Great Falls, McKenzie Urban of Great Falls, Tyler Marshall of Great Falls, Tim Neuroth of Great Falls and Taren Kosmeral of AZ.She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Michael Arndt; her nephew, Travis Mark Arndt; and her stepmother, Patti Arndt.Even though we will miss you more than words can express we are so thankful to have been in your life for these too few years.
