Doris B. Mudd, 88, of Great Falls, passed away from complications from a massive stroke on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.The funeral liturgy will be Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Doris was born on February 16, 1928 to John and Alice Hehn in Glendive. She married Robert E. Manning on August 6, 1949. He passed away on October 2, 1977. She then married Joseph G. Mudd on November 17, 1979. He passed away on August 20, 2002.She was a homemaker who loved snow skiing, tennis and swimming lessons, Bridge, Pinochle, cooking, camping, fishing, family picnics, reading, crosswords, her cats, gardening, picking asparagus at the river, entertaining during the holidays, going out to eat, dancing, spending time with her friends at the Senior Center, riding bicycles with her best friend, Marion Reynolds through Yellowstone Park, going to the fair, and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her family.Doris is survived by her daughters, Cheri (Roger) Warila, Jackie Faegre, Pat Rice, Sue (Rich) Dahlberg, and Julee (Roger) Kranz; stepchildren Jack (Maggie) Mudd, LeAnn (Pat) Roach, Nancy (Mike) Roach, and Jolene (Rick) Boyle; 21 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by both husbands; 3 grandchildren, Brian Voegel, Luke Roach, and Joseph Boyle; and sister Mary Ellen Gilmor.Memorials are suggested to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405.
