Duane Roger Johnson

Duane Roger Johnson, 85, passed away on July 29, 2025, in Great Falls, MT. Duane was born in Chester, MT to Paul and Dorma (Heydon) Johnson.

Duane spent most of his life in Joplin, MT as a farmer. In addition, he and Gloria owned the Joplin Café. He married Gloria Jean (Lambott) in Bonner’s Ferry, Idaho in 1960. They had 3 children, Bret Andrew Johnson (Trish Roberts), Cari Jo Fenger (Fred Fenger), and Dana Rae Knudsen (John Knudsen).

Duane had two sisters, Elaine Kline (Dick Kline) and Elva Elling (Fred Elling); and two brothers, Calvin Johnson (Candy Johnson) and Stanley Johnson (Bonnie Johnson).

He was preceded in death by his dad, Paul Johnson; mom, Dorma Hadford; and brother, Stanley Johnson. He is survived by his wife; his kids; grandkids; and great-grandkids; as well as sisters, Elaine Kline (Dick Kline) and Elva Elling (Fred Elling); brother, Calvin Johnson (Candy Johnson); and sister-in-law, Bonnie Johnson.

There will be no memorial service.
