Ellen Sweet Anderson, 85, of Great Falls, MT passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at her home.A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery with Father Dick Schlosser presiding. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the cremation.Ellen was born October 18, 1930 in Crosby, North Dakota. She attended high school in Crosby, was in the band and pep band and graduated in 1948.She married James Lunde shortly after graduation and had four children, Brian, Bruce, Suzanne and Becky. They enjoyed weekend camping, picnics, and traveling to the family farm for summer vacations. Jim and Ellen divorced in 1975.Ellen worked as a waitress in the food industry most of her life. She enjoyed working with and meeting new people. She loved life. After retiring, she enjoyed reading and visiting with her family and friends, and cherished their company.Ellen is survived by her son, Brian Lunde of Fairfield, MT (her favorite); daughters Suzanne (Kelley) Tynes of Lincoln, MT, Becky (Dave) Gunness of Great Falls, MT and daughter-in-law Cheryl Rounds of Chester, MT; grandchildren Jeff Lunde of Seattle, WA, Autumn (Matt) OMalley of Ft. Riley, KS, Josh (Amanda) Henzel of Great Falls, MT, Jennifer Henzel of Eugene, OR, Lacey Melton of Lincoln, MT, Kelsey Rowland of Missoula, MT, and Savannah Tynes of Missoula, MT; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.GG will be greatly missed.Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Ronello Davis; brothers Murray Tate, Stanley Tate, and Ross Tate; sisters Cleo Bowman and Daurice Mansfield; and son Bruce Lunde.In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellens name can be made to a charity of the donors choice.
