Eric Michael Melton

Eric Michael Melton, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. His celebration of life will be held at the Great Falls VFW, on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Eric was born on March 24, 1996, in Great Falls, Montana. He graduated in 2014 from Great Falls High School. Post high school, he joined his second family and started a great career with The Other Guys Wood Flooring where he worked until his passing. He was the proud father of Connor and Ben Melton. He dreamed of the day he could share with them his passions of hunting and fishing. Many knew Eric for his bright smile and infectious laughter. He had an incredible love for Montana and the outdoors. Every weekend you could catch Eric chasing elk and deer or spending many hours on the riverbanks fishing for walleye, but not trout because they “taste terrible.” He cherished every day he spent hunting and fishing with his friends or simply hanging out and chatting. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Anne Keel of Great Falls, Montana. He is survived by his mother, Katherine Keel; siblings, Adam and Jordan Melton, Amanda Melton, and Emily Melton; sons, Connor and Ben Melton; aunts, Peggy O’Hare Becker, Frances Cherry, Chuckie Piermattei, Barbara Borchert, and Pam Musgrave; and loving girlfriend, Jessie Blomgren.
