Erma Woolsey, 92, a longtime Great Falls resident, died of natural causes Monday evening at her home.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012 at the First Baptist Church (525 2nd Ave. N.) with Pastor John Duckworth officiating. Interment services will follow at Highland Cemetery.Friends may call at Schnider Funeral Home from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.Born in Butte, Montana on December 9, 1919 to Marco and Katie Peretti, she came with her family to Great Falls where she was raised and educated.She married Darwin Woolsey in 1935.She owned and operated a 12 room boarding house where she assisted in the care of many elderly tenants for 36 years.Erma had also managed nurseries for multiple churches including First Baptist, Faith Center and Great Falls Christian Center following the death of her husband; she retired to baby-sit her great-grandchildren starting in 1988.Leading a life dedicated to her family and friends, Erma inspired those around her with kindness, bountiful generosity and a spirit filled with love.Special enjoyments for Erma were Saturday shopping with daughter Diane and Sunday excursions with niece Irene and her family.Preceding her in death were her husband Darwin in 1978; daughter Thelma Lunn in 1958 and siblings William, Bruno, Stella and Mary.Survivors include her daughter Diane LeVeque (Jerry) and grandson whom she raised, Darwin Lunn (Carrie), all of Great Falls; nieces Irene Lesmeister, Terra Pankratz and Linda VanTighem, nephews Jerry Woolsey and David Woolsey as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
