Francis DeLight VanWinkle, 67, formerly of Moccasin, MT, passed away October 7, 2013 from natural causes at Peace Hospice House.At her request there will be no services.She was born on February 28, 1946, to Tommie F. Aeby in Jonesboro, AR. Francis; her mother, Tommie; and daughter Darlene moved and traveled around the southwestern US, before finally settling in Lewistown, MT. She was known as 80 Lady because she rode a 1980 Yamaha motorcycle and as Granny Franny after the birth of her grandson, Christopher. She worked at the Yogo Inn as the night cook in Lewistown from the 70s until the late 80s. She worked at Eddies Corner as the graveyard cook from the late 80s until 2009.Francis was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. Her daughter and grandchildren meant the world to her. She had a great sense of humor which has been passed on to her family.She enjoyed spending time with her family, growing many house plants and crocheting beautiful works. She was always making afghans, pillows, kitchen towels and washcloths to give away to her friends and family. She will be truly missed. There is a hole in the world now where she once filled it with her laughter and love.Francis is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene (Daryl) Parmiter and her two grandsons Christopher and Nolan Montgomery all from Great Falls and her brother, Gary Jones of Ravenden, AR.She was preceded in death by her mother, Tommie F. Aeby.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Peace Hospice House, Great Falls, MT.
