Gordon H. Palagi, 94, of Great Falls, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 8:43 p.m.Gordon was born on March 9, 1921 in Black Eagle, Montana to Guy and Sophia Palagi. He lived in Montana his entire life and loved Montana. He graduated from Great Falls High in 1939. He was in the Army during WWII serving in the South Pacific. He was a life member of the VFW and the American Legion. Gordon spent his entire working life in the plumbing business and had his own business, Palagi Plumbing Company.Gordon married Faith L. Barrett. She died in 1990. He then married Audrey E. Stephens. Gordon had three children, Faith, Artha and Martin.His favorite pastime was his cabin by the Dearborn for fishing and family gatherings.Gordon is survived by his wife, Audrey Palagi; daughters Faith A. Seyforth and Artha L. (Dan) Enott; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and brothers Howard and George Palagi. He was a loving father, grandfather, and a caring friend to all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Sophia Palagi; brother Leonard; sisters Fran Polich, Elaine Smith and Marie Rivera; son Martin G. Palagi; and granddaughter Tracey Price.A visitation will be held from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Schnider Funeral Home. A reception will be held from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Schnider Funeral Home followed by a celebration of life at 3:30 p.m. at Beacon Ice House. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St. S., Great Falls, MT 59405.
