Hazel Evans

Hazel Mae Evans, 92, of Great Falls, a retired cook for Great Northern Railroad and motel manager in Augusta, died Monday, December 17, 2012 of natural causes in her nieces home in Vaughn.At her request no services are planned. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Hazel was born in Geyser, Montana to Charles H. and Lena Belle Meredith. She is survived by her sisters Mary Combs of Oregon and Pricilla Combs of Great Falls; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Evans; sister Mary Anderson; brothers Charles Meredith, Harold Meredith, and Donald Meredith; and longtime friend and companion Samuel Davis.Memorials can be made to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405.
