Henry G. “Hank” Seeman, of Black Eagle was 80 years old when he passed on December 11, 2020, at Peace Hospice of natural causes. Hank was born July 11, 1940, to Henry and Mary Seeman in Mandan, North Dakota. He graduated from Mandan High School in 1958 and worked for Brady Wrecking Yard while in high school. He then went to Wahpeton Trade School for Auto and Diesel Mechanics. After graduating from Wahpeton, he went to work for Bergs Towing and the GM dealership in Mandan. In 1968, Hank moved to Montana and worked in Great Falls for City Motors, Rick Truck Lines, and Hible Construction. In the early 1990s, Hank began his own business, Seeman’s Mobile Repair. Hank was deeply involved in volunteering for the Uptown Optimist Club in Great Falls, and he was a past President and lifetime member. He gave so much of his time to Uptown Optimist Club Tree Lot selling Christmas trees each year to raise funds for the community youth. He also enjoyed volunteering and participating in Treasure State Fly Wheelers, Skunk Wagon Car Club, and taking his Corvair to the parades. He spent time with his friends tinkering on the old cars and tractors and helped restore them. Hank was well known for ability to trouble shoot mechanical problems and make things run. Hank’s hobbies included restoring old cars and tractors, collecting model Corvairs, and driving for Thomas Carnivals. Hank is survived by his daughters, Teresa Thompson and Denise (Ron) Nelson; sons, Todd Seeman and Paul (Lori) Seeman; brother, Ernest (Anita) Seeman; eleven grandchildren, Tiffany, Richard, Michael, Elisabeth, Joshua, Travis, Connor, Ashlynn, Waylon, Christopher, and Ryan; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Seeman; daughter, Renee Seeman; grandsons, Bobby Classen and RJ Nelson; and nephew, Ernest “Punky” Seeman. There will be a celebration of life on May 15, 2021, at 12:00 noon at the Black Eagle Pit Stop. Masks are not required but are encouraged. There will be food and a no host bar. A private graveside service will be held at the family plot in North Dakota at a later date.
