James Leslie Nicholls

James Leslie Nicholls, 74, of Ulm, passed away January 29, 2018. A memorial get together will be held at a later date in the summer. Schnider Funeral Home handled the cremation. James was born on March 10, 1943 in Great Falls, Montana to James and Marie Nicholls. He went on to graduate from Cascade High School in 1962. After high school he joined the Air National Guard for six years and was honorably discharged. He went on to work at the Anaconda Smelter in Great Falls and Cereal Foods. He worked at Cereal Foods for 39 years and retired in 2005. Jim liked to read Louis Lamour Westerns and work on woodwork. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Nicholls; sons Duane (Debbie) Nicholls of Great Falls, Mike (Michelle) Nicholls of Torrance, CA and Loren Nicholls of Ulm, MT; and two grandchildren Micaela and Marissa Nicholls of Torrance, CA. Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Nicholls; mother Marie Agnes Harpine Nicholls; sister Sandra Nicholls; and brother Rodney Nicholls.
