James Shanahan

James Shanahan passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022. James was born in Great Falls, MT on February 1, 1930. He was the last of six children to James and Mary Shanahan. James loved to be active in the community. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Elk’s Club, Red Cross, and the Stamp Club. James also liked to collect coins and was very proud of his collection. He is survived by Leslie (Douglas) Myers, Jamie Phipps, Kathleen Henderson, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel (1410 13th St S) on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A vigil will be held immediately after the visitation. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 p.m. (noon) at St. Ann's Church (715 Third Ave N).
