Jeanene “Jeanie” Rae Eskildsen (Greene), aged 67, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, in Great Falls, Montana.
Jeanie was born on July 24, 1959, in Clarkston, Washington, to Eugene and Beverly Greene. She attended high school in Lewistown, Idaho, and graduated in 1978.
Throughout her life, Jeanie worked in a variety of occupations. In her younger years, she worked as a waitress and later as a bank teller. Her final 20 years of employment were spent caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a career that brought her great joy and fulfillment. Caring for others was her favorite occupation, and she took great pride in the difference she made in the lives of those around her.
Family was the center of Jeanie’s life. She especially cherished the time she spent with her grandson, Keegan, and was an extremely devoted grandmother. She loved watching Keegan participate in sports and music and was always there to support him. She happily embraced her role as his personal “taxi driver,” making sure he could get wherever he needed to go. Being a grandmother was a role she treasured deeply.
Jeanie enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures, including family time, road trips, cooking, plants and gardening. She had a warm and caring nature and treasured the memories made with the people she loved.
Jeanie is survived by her daughter, Kelsey (Jeff) May; her beloved grandson, Keegan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Beverly Greene; her brother, Douglas Greene; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins with whom she shared close and cherished relationships.
Jeanie will be remembered for her caring heart, devotion to her family, and especially for the love and dedication she gave to her grandson. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
