Born January 23, 1941, in Worcester, MA to Lucien and Ruth Cloutier.
She graduated high school from St. Stephens Catholic High School in 1959. After high school she worked as a secretary for Healds Machine.
While on vacation at Hampton Beach, NH with girlfriends, Jeanette met the love of her life.
Hampton Beach became a popular vacation spot for many years to come.
She and Cliff were married on July 14, 1962. After which they honeymooned across country with the final destination of Naval Station in San Diego, CA.
Jeanette and Cliff settled into a beautiful home in North Plainfield, New Jersey. Where Jeanette set about to making the house a home for them and future children.
In 1992, they packed up and moved to Montana to be closer to their eldest daughter and her family, and to begin anew.
Jeanette worked for her daughter as bookkeeper/receptionist from 1993-2005. She was loved and respected by all who met her.
Jeanette loved to decorate for holidays. All the holidays. Her home was her pride and joy. She and Cliff had a great love for entertaining and enjoying the company of family and friends.
When Jeanette and Cliff joined Church of the Incarnation Episcopal church they both became active in church life. Jeanette became a member of Daughters of the King and served with the ECW. Her church life was very special to her.
Jeanette was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Montana Submarine Veterans Association. She was proud of her husband’s service, and proud of our military men and women.
Jeanette and her husband love traveling and seeing new places. Many a time they would hop in the car and set off for a new destination. They loved to stop in antique stores and explore all the treasures. And explore all the things a new destination offered.
She is survived by her children, Robin (Baird) Hometchko, Cheryl Baird, and Clifford Baird, III; grandchildren, James David Hometchko, Tabitha Hometchko, Jaycee Baird, David Dunlop; great-grandchildren, Jesse Smith and Andrew Hometchko
She is preceded in death by, Clifford P Baird, Jr.; Lucien Cloutier; Ruth Cloutier; and Marie (Cloutier) Pichette.
Service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Church of the Incarnation, 600 3rd Avenue North, at 2:00 p.m. With a reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
