John E. Hanewald

John E. Hanewald, 65, of Great Falls, passed away at his residence March 8, 2015. Services are planned at a later date at Heritage Baptist Church.John was born September 1, 1949 to Harold and Betty Hanewald in Hazen, North Dakota. He graduated from Hazen High School in North Dakota.John was a Big Game guide and a cowboy who would often bring horses into the mountains where he lived with them. He worked in the oil field and was very hardworking and always busy with something. John was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church .He is survived by son John Jay Hanewald of Great Falls and four step children; brothers Jack (Cindy) Hanewald of Billings; and Bill (Laurel) Hanewald of Hansen, North Dakota.John was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Betty Hanewald.
