John Anthony Grealish passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 25, 2014 at Peace Hospice in Great Falls, at the age of 82.John was born on August 11, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts to John and Barbara Grealish. He joined the U.S. Air Force after completing his education, at which time he met his wife Clela Grealish in Cut Bank, MT. After an honorable discharge, he began his career with Mountain Bell before retiring as a supervisor in 1984.His happiest times were spent with family, which included his five children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.John is survived by his son, John (Debbie) Grealish of Butte, grandsons Kevin, Travis, Sean, and Brendan; son, Jeff (Laura) Grealish of Tacoma, WA, grandchildren Evann, Logan; daughter, Janet (Nick) Kelley of Great Falls, granddaughters, Jessica, Jamie, Colette; daughter Julie (Erick) Baley of Wichita, TX, grandchildren Dustin, Colton, Jillian; ten great-grandchildren; and his brother, Jimmy of Boston, MA.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; and sister; son Jim Grealish; and wife Clela Grealish.Special thanks to the Goldstone for the wonderful care they provided to John and his family the last five years. Also, special thanks to Peace Hospice for their compassionate care and prayers.A private service was held by his family Tuesday, October 28, 2014. John was carried to rest by four of his grandsons: Kevin, Travis, Sean and Brendan. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
