Joseph "Joe" Levesey Jr.

Joseph Leonard Levesey, Jr., 52, of Great Falls, passed away at his home Monday, December 28, 2015 from melanoma cancer.Joe was born November 8, 1963 in Great Falls. He graduated from CMR High School in 1982. After graduation, Joe joined the Montana Air National Guard. He retired after 30 years.Joe enjoyed golfing and bowling and watching Nascar, hockey and football. He was an avid Broncos, Avalanche and GRIZ fan. He coached his boys in Little League and bowling while they were young.Joe is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patti Levesey; sons Matt (Faith Hinkle) Levesey and Marc Levesey; parents Joe and Trudy Levesey; sisters Tammy (Ray) Fish and Michele Woods (Steve Howse); father-in-law Jim Larkin; sister-in-law Janice (Curt) Lorang all of Great Falls; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Tom and Jana Mital.He is preceded in death by grandparents, Joe and Melvene Levesey, Walter and Ada Quinton and mother-in-law, Nona Larkin.A gathering of friends and family will be Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the Hickory Swing Golf Course Clubhouse from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Sletten Cancer Institute or Peace Hospice.
