Kenneth "Ken" Croscutt

Kenneth Eugene Croscutt, 80, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from natural causes at a local skilled nursing facility.A memorial service will be held Monday, June 13, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Ken was born December 4, 1935 in French Creek, New York to Roy and Irene Croscutt. He was raised on the family dairy farm along with his two sisters, Ila Jean and Marlene. He attended Sherman Central School. Ken started his own dairy farm, and in 1958 married Nancy Leid, they had three children, Michael, Jeffrey and Jill. Later they divorced.In 1970, Ken married Sylvia Brown Merrow of McKean, Pennsylvania and raised her son Randy Merrow. Later they moved to Fairview, Pennsylvania where he worked for FLEX-Y-PLAN, retiring in 1998 after the death of his wife.Ken later moved to Great Falls, to be near his oldest son Michael. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing, and camping.Ken is survived by his first wife, Nancy of Corry, PA; sons Michael (Deborah) Croscutt of Great Falls and Jeffrey Croscutt of Richmond, VA; daughter Jill Croscutt-Rohlor of Erie, PA; step-son Randy (Dawn) Merrow of Waterford, PA; sisters Ila Jean Johnson of Mayville, NY and Marlene (John) Holthouse of Clymer, NY; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and his friends, the Zoo Crew of Great Falls.He was preceded in death by his parents and second wife.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to Walleyes Unlimited of Montana, Great Falls Chapter, PO Box 937, Great Falls, MT 59403 or Meals on Wheels, 1620 12th Ave N, Great Falls, MT 59401.
