Lillian Marie Morris

Lillian Marie Morris, 89, of Great Falls, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 due to complications from a stroke. Per her request, no services will be held. Graveside services will be held in Belt Cemetery at a later date. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Lillian was born on April 10, 1928 in Belt, Montana to Michael and Frances (Dobkoski) Voytoski. She attended schools in Belt and Great Falls including MSU. She worked in Gardner, Belt, and Great Falls communities throughout her life as a waitress until her retirement. She married Venor V. Morris in 1944 and later was married to Jess Hoyer. Lillian enjoyed dancing, billiards, bingo, arts and crafts, and helping others. She is survived by her son Gayle Morris; daughter Sheryl Morris Smerker; sister Lorraine Atkinson of Belt; grandchildren Gregg R. Smerker of E. Helena, Brittney Morris of Great Falls, and Brannon Morris of Greenville, SC; great-grandchildren Sydney, Joshua and Hayden Smerker of E. Helena. Lillian was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; and 11 siblings.
