Linda May Hinds

Linda M. Hinds, 66, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Benefis Hospital. Linda was born February 11, 1954, in Dearborn Heights MI to Harvey and Mary Grigg. Raised in Michigan, Linda loved to travel and met her husband, David, in 1984. They celebrated 37 wonderful years together. Linda was a real estate broker/owner in Great Falls for many years. She enjoyed the thrill of helping others realize their dreams of home ownership or finding that perfect rental property. Probably Linda’s hardest job was keeping her husband straight as they passed through his military career. Linda had a passion for travel, seeing life as an adventure for her to explore. She enjoyed music, camping, cruising, square dancing, history, and of highest importance, her family. In those adventures, she had the pleasure of visiting many countries including Australia, Japan, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, France, and much of the USA (missed only 2 states). She enjoyed experiencing the culture of everywhere she went and meeting celebrities and people who inspired her. In her life, she had many pen pals, cultivating relationships with people across the globe for years. She loved and enjoyed all forms of music, including playing instruments such as the flute and clarinet, and singing in the church and with her husband. Linda loved her family deeply, sharing her wisdom and humor with them and with those who called her friend. Her love for life was a joy to be a part of. She will be greatly missed. Linda is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Jessica; grandchildren, Raven and Isaiah; sister, Pegi; and four adorable dogs, Chewy, Oodles, Chipper, and Baysil. There will be a memorial service at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
