Louise "Connie" Brekke

Louise “Connie” Brekke, age 80, passed away on April 17, 2025, in Luxembourg, Luxembourg.

Connie was born on June 12, 1944, in Seattle, Washington, to Louella Meyer Stockton and Ross Stockton. She graduated from Okanogan High School in 1962 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Eastern Washington State College in Cheney, Washington in 1966. She later earned a Master of Education from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1972.

Connie dedicated much of her career to teaching biology and math at Culver City High School, where she inspired generations of students with her passion for learning. She had a deep love for her family, friends, students, travel, and a good cup of tea.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Gina (Dalin) Rowe of Santa Clarita, CA; her grandson, Ty Rowe of Santa Clarita, California; her sister, Ginger Greene of Alturas, California; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louella and Ross Stockton; her brother, Robert Stockton; and her sister, Patricia Gustafson.
