Martha Kvande

Martha Kvande, 95, of Great Falls, passed away December 8, 2016.A memorial service will be Friday, December 16, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Eagles Manor. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Martha was born on September 28, 1921 in Belt, Montana to Lars and Sophie (Orham) Anderson. She grew up and attended the schools in Belt, while living at the Home Place, which is still in Belt. She moved to Great Falls after high school and has lived here ever since. She married Clarence Kvande.Martha was a member of the Rambling Sams, the Eagles for almost 50 years, Sons of Norway, and Our Saviors Lutheran Church.She enjoyed crocheting, solving crossword puzzles, and dancing.Martha is survived by her husband, Clarence; son-in-law Daniel Smith; stepdaughter Sissel Goldberg; sister Mary Ennen; granddaughters Rebecca Harrell and Georgia Goldberg; grandsons Jake and Gus Goldberg; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lawrence and Amel; sisters Isabel and Helen; daughter Caroline Hering Smith; and great-granddaughter Danielle Harrell.
