Marvin Virgil Clifford

September 18, 1952 — October 6, 2020

Marvin Clifford passed away of natural causes in his home on October 6, 2020. He was born in Rigby, ID on September 18, 1952. Marvin was the 7th (of 8) children born to Virgil and Beatrice Clifford along with his siblings: Arnold, Treva, Marietta, Phil, Karen, Judy and Kevin. Marvin started a career at the age of 18 with the Army before enlisting with the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He was honorably discharged in 1992. He lived in a few different states throughout his life including Idaho, Utah and briefly in Texas, California and Montana. He had an unconditional love for the great outdoors which prompted his decision to return to this beautiful state of Montana and make this his forever home in 1998! Marvin loved being in the mountains where he enjoyed hiking, hunting, camping and some 4x4’s. Because of his passion for all of this, he purchased property in Craig where his ashes will be spread. These were Marvin’s wishes so his family will not be having a service but instead a gathering to have his loved ones together. Family and friends are asked to join in his celebration of life which will be announced in the spring of 2021. He is survived by his 3 children: Doug Clifford, Nick Clifford, and Delicia (Chad) Larson. Also, by his grandchildren (great-grandchildren): Colton Clifford (Alaina, Ava, and Bentley), Tori Hill (Hailey, Domonique, and Dawson), Kelsee Hill, Dyllan Clifford, Zack Clifford, Catlin/John Clifford (Myles), Makayla Clifford, Cyla Larson and Driver Larson. If you would like to help the family with his funeral costs or to share memories, flowers/cards and condolences, please contact his daughter for more information: delicialarson@hotmail.com or send her a personal message on Facebook.
