Mary Catherine Skinner

Mary Catharine Skinner (Stelloh) was the oldest surviving child of Ralph and Bernadine Stelloh. Mary was born on August 23,1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she was raised, and married Lyle Skinner in 1962. She is survived by her eight children, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

Mary attended the following schools, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Saint Barbara's (K-3), Saint Anthony's (4-8), and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School, run by the Sisters of Mercy Catholic order. 

Mary had several occupations through her life including, WAC cook, switchboard operator for the Milwaukee Journal, receptionist for Albrect and Lathers MD's, Milwaukee, WI. Her last job was with Montana Christian Supply, which gave her several travel opportunities throughout Montana. Mary could strike up a conversation with a stranger and make a lifelong friend. 

Mary had several interests; she loved reading mystery novels, was a fan of the Green Bay Packers professional football team, was a season ticket holder for the rookie/farm league teams in Great Falls, Montana for several seasons, a particular affinity for jazz though she liked music in general, and had a sharp, philosophical, and inquiring mind. 

“Ma” will be missed and well-remembered by all who knew and loved her.
