Mary Wing

Mary Elizabeth Wing, 90, of Black Eagle, passed away early Saturday, December 10, 2016. Our heavenly Father called our mother to his mansion in the sky.Mary was born in Rock Island, Illinois on July 28, 1926 to William Luther and Carrie (Willhelm) Colbert. After traveling to many towns and cities, Marys family settled in Richey, MT. She grew up there with her sister, Phyliss and brother William L. Billy Colbert. In 1945, she married her sweetheart, Clarence Henry Wing. Mary worked at the Columbus Hospital until her retirement after Clarence passed away.Mary has joined hands again with loved ones who preceded her in death, her parents; husband Clarence; beloved daughter, Mary Marguarite Wing; son-in-law Bill Tackitt; and grandchildren Kaylene Gray and Frank Aman.She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Tackitt of Elm Mott, TX and her children, Tonya Nunn, Shannon Tackitt, and Ryan (Clara) Tackitt; son Clarence Henry Wing Jr; daughter Priscilla Ray (Douglas) Aman and her children, Eli (Elli) Jarvis, Raelene Jarvis, Jolene (Kevin) Gough, Christy (Rocky) Beach and Douglas Aman; brother William L. (Violet) Colbert of Richey, MT; sister Phyliss Carlsen of Sidney, MT; 30 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Everyone loves to get together and tell stories of their Grandma Wing. Although she will be truly missed, it is with a lighter heart we all gather to say good-bye.Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 both at OConnor Memorial Chapel.
