Michael Paul Heinen, aged 65, passed away on August 8, 2026, from critical health complications following a farm accident, though not without a strong fight. Mike was born on January 29, 1961, in Spokane, Washington, and grew up in Power, Montana. Graduating as a power Pirate in 1979. He met the love of his life, Jackie, in 1990 on Thanksgiving Day, to then get married on June 15, 1991. They were always seen together and enjoyed every day by each other’s side throughout their 35 beautiful years of marriage. Throughout the years, Mike served as military police in the Army, became a pastor, and owned a family business, Computer Affordable Repair, all while leading and raising his family. Eventually returning to the family farm in Power, he remained there for the rest of his days, a community filled with family and friends that became very knowing of and passionate about.
Mike wore many hats. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a dear friend to many. As hobbies, he greatly enjoyed hunting and pike fishing, and as a retired Army Veteran, he found himself in a mew role as Post Commander of the American Legion.
Mike is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; sons, Paul (Megan) and Zorin; daughter, Julia; four grandchildren, Liam, Easton, Ava, and Elise; and brothers, Murph and Marty Anderson.
Everyone around Mike knew him for his kindness and engaging somebody in a friendly conversation, his abundance of jokes, and never a lack of sarcasm. Always honest and true, a “Mighty Warrior”, man of his word, and minister of the gospel of the Lord; Jesus Christ. His legacy and memory will always be here and lovingly remembered. As there is hope and comfort in knowing that Mike is now whole and rejoicing with his Father in Heaven, his passing was not a goodbye, but a see you later.
