Michael "Mike" Haney

Michael Mike Haney, 73, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from natural causes.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the services.Mike was born on February 8, 1943 in Great Falls, MT. He attended Great Falls "public" schools and graduated from Great Falls High School in 1961. Over the years, Mike worked in sales, owned his own drapery business and then eventually retired from Bison Ford as manager of their rental department.Mike had many interests and hobbies, including cars, firearms and politics. Something else he was known for was being a prankster and often earned a chuckle from those around him.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Roxy; daughters, Shelley (Rick) Poss of Lewistown and Kim Haney of Great Falls; son Jason (Lindsey) Haney of Puyallup, WA; seven grandchildren; sisters, Dorthy (Tom) Molen and Patti (Louie) Molen; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Margaret Haney and sister Carole Ann Simonich.
