Michael Mike Lee Waring passed peacefully on April 22, 2017.Mike was born on August 5, 1959 to Russell and Lois Waring in Great Falls, MT. He went to C.M. Russell High School where he met many of his lifelong friends. These friendships meant the world to Mike and lasted throughout his life. Many of them went on to attend Montana State University where Mike majored in Agronomy and was a member of the SAE Fraternity. Mike loved telling fraternity stories that involved living in the historic Story Mansion in Bozeman.After college, Mike met and married Irene Hurst. From this union, two beautiful daughters were born. Mike and Irene raised their daughters in Great Falls. Mikes career spanned over 30 years in the Montana Agriculture business where he travelled to various regions of agricultural importance. He loved interacting with farmers and other colleagues in the agriculture field. Throughout his life Mike was a massive supporter of Montana State University Bobcat Athletics. He loved attending the Bobcat football games with his family.Mike was an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his free time hunting, fishing and trapping. He especially loved spending time at his Wolf Creek cabin with his friends and family, always loving to talk while sitting by a fire listening to Little Wolf Creek trickle by.He is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Waring and nephew Zachary Rowe.Mike is survived by his father, Russell Waring; sister Janet (Richard) Rowe; daughters Nicole (Patrick) Simasko and Amanda (Christopher) Bechtold; grandchildren Hazel, Jack and Harper; nephew Ben Rowe and niece Sierra Rowe.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, (TODAY), April 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at First United Method Church, 610 2nd Ave. N., Great Falls. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Schnider Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mikes name to the Montana State Alumni Foundation.
