Patricia Myers Clark was born on May 26, 1931, in Great Falls, Montana to Thomas and Gertrude Myers. She had one brother, Tommy. Pat attended St. Mary's School from grade school through high school. She grew up during World War II thinking she would become a nun because the family lived behind a convent. They went to church at St. Ann's Cathedral a few blocks away. She instead married Maurice Clark and had five sons and two daughters. Pat met her husband, “Mese” Clark, at the old College of Great Falls. Mese was about to be drafted, so he went to the National Guard. He trained in Florida, and they got married when he returned to Great Falls on January 26, 1952. Pat went with him to Victorville, CA. They spent that summer there. When they returned, Mese went back to college to work towards his degree in accounting. Their children were born during the next nine years, Mark in 1953, Dennis in 1954, Kim and Kevin in 1955, Steven in 1957, and then finally two girls, Mary Kelli in 1960, and Trudi Ann in 1962. While Mese was very busy establishing his career, Pat stayed home and took care of the children. Every summer the family went to the lake for vacations. In the winter the Clarks skied at Kings Hill. Pat was mainly involved in organizing all the ski clothes for seven kids. Mese was the skier. He taught all the kids to ski. Pat made sure everyone made it back safely. In 1978 Pat and Mese built several condominiums at Meadowlark County Club and moved there. All of Pat's children were married in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Grandchildren soon followed, and Pat loved her 25 grandchildren. Mese and Pat lived in a house by the Country Club during those years. They also bought a vacation condo in Whitefish, MT. Pat was the owner and founder of Independent Realty in Great Falls. Pat and Mese eventually sold their property in Montana and moved to St. George, Utah. They lived there from 1999 until Mese died in 2017. Pat and Mese lost their youngest son, Steve and his wife, Sue in St. George in 2013. During her last years in St. George, Pat cared for Mese while he suffered from dementia. It was a challenging time, especially when he was moved into the Veterans home in Ivins, UT. Pat moved back to Montana shortly after Mese’s passing and lived in Helena. She died in Helena, Montana on January 27, 2022. A funeral Mass will take place at St. Ann's Cathedral on June 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
