Patrick "Pat" Kennedy

Patrick Pat J. Kennedy or as known to his children Daddy , 59 of Great Falls passed by way of an automobile accident outside of Clearwater Junction as he would say the big moo cow December 13, 2014.A vigil service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A funeral liturgy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements with a reception to follow the burial.Pat was born October 27, 1955 in Great Falls. He was educated in Great Falls and graduated from CM Russell High School in 1974. During his teenage years, he worked at the family business, Electric City Conservatory doing a little bit of everything from repairs to delivering flowers. After high school, he attended the University of Montana. He then returned to Great Falls to continue with the family business as the greenhouse manager for many years. He enjoyed growing the Easter lilies for Easter, the bedding plants for spring and the wonderful poinsettias for Christmas. Pat met Patty Balyeat and later married in 1982. They stayed in Great Falls to raise their children. After leaving Electric City, he obtained his stock broker license which was something that he enjoyed. Up until his death, he worked for Pitney Bowes and Howard's Pizza. He loved delivering pizzas and all the people involved. He recently earned his Bachelors of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology. Pat loved his family especially his children, Bonnie Jean Jeanie, Mikey Mikeyman, Patrick Patterrick and Ann Milk Belly.Growing up he enjoyed all the great camping trips to Seeley Lake and Glacier Park and picking on his sisters, also playing rounds of rummy with his Mom. He had a lifelong love of Coca-Cola, Green Bay Packers, and his hatred for the Denver Broncos which has been passed down to his children. He spent free time watching movies with his kids and working on cars and electronics. Pat had a great laugh and sense of humor. That is a big part of Pat that most will remember.Pat is survived by his 4 children, Bonnie Jean (Russ) Robertson of Great Falls, Mikey Kennedy and Patrick Kennedy both of Kalispell and Ann Kennedy of Missoula; Patty Kennedy of Great Falls; his father John J Kennedy, stepmother Lorna Kennedy of Great Falls, sisters Kathy (Ray) Scott of Fairfield, Janet (Charlie) Clement of Fairfield, numerous nieces, nephews and Sadie the family dog.He was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Kennedy and his grandparents Clarence and Alice Carlson.
