Patti Almond

June 18, 1954 — August 24, 2015

Patti (Luvy) Stuckenschneider Almond was born June 18, 1954 in Anaconda, Montana. She lived in many different places, but she called Great Falls her home.An open house to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, Sept.12th at 330 18th St SW from 11-5.On May 29, 1976 she married the love of her life Jon Almond who also planted the seed in her heart for her Lord Jesus. Together they lived and raised three children in the same home for thirty-five years. She also had a hand on many other little lives with the day care she ran for twenty years. Patti had a special bond with children that was hard to ignore. She had a passion for her family and especially her granddaughters, showing anyone her many photos and bragging about all of their accomplishments, beauty and smarts. Patti had a knack for giving nick-names to her special little lives as well as lots of encouragement through her touch and cards. She loved being out in her flower beds digging and planting as much as possible. She also enjoyed helping out at the farm and homestead, cleaning, cooking, driving, harvesting, picking rocks and relaxing. The last few years have been a struggle for Patti and on August 24 she went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She is survived by her Honey Bear, Jon Almond; her children Jennifer (Aaron) Losing of Kalispell, Apryl Burke and Loren Almond of Great Falls; three granddaughters Harley and Haven Burke of Great Falls, and Evnye Losing of Kalispell; brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews.Patti was preceded in death by her parents Ray Stuckenschneider and Juanita Levitt. There will be no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears. There will be a day when the burdens of this place will be no more, and well see Jesus face to face.
