Peter "Pete" Olaf Brekke

Peter “Pete” O. Brekke, 79, of Great Falls passed away November 9, 2018. A memorial gathering will held Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the VFW 1087, 4123 10th Ave S. Pete was born on July 6, 1939 in Bozeman to Tore and Ella (Ode) Lukasik. He served 4 years in the US Navy, U.S.S. Monticello (LSD-35). He went to work for Shumaker Trucking and Excavating where he worked as a mechanic and eventually retired. He is survived by two sons, Stephen Brekke (Jannette) and Cris Brekke; and granddaughter Katherine Brekke. Pete was preceded in death by his dad, Tore Brekke and mom Ella Ode Lukasik.
