Richard Pitner, 54, of Great Falls, passed away May 30, 2016 due to complications from MS. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Richard was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 19, 1961. He moved to Tennessee at a young age and graduated there. After graduation, he joined the Air Force which brought him to Great Falls. He married Juanita Heikens, and they were married for 33 years. He was a published author and went into the publishing business, where he became a proofing editor until he was diagnosed with MS and had to retire. He spent most of his time studying and teaching the Bible until his passing. Richard is survived by his wife, Juanita; daughter Bieanka; son-in-law Richie and his wife Angelina; seven grandchildren; and three brothers. We miss you and your stories.
