Rikki Gilchrist

Rikki Renae Gilchrist, 30, of Great Falls, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 peacefully from a sudden illness surrounded by her family.A funeral liturgy will be Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Rikki was born October 6, 1986 in Spokane, WA at Deaconess Hospital. After a month stay, she came home and was raised and educated in Great Falls. She worked as a switchboard operator for eight years at the Great Falls Clinic (Great Falls Clinic, this is Rikki), after which she attended and recently graduated with an Associate Degree in Business from MSU, Great Falls.She loved time with her family and her wonderful boyfriend, Zach Greenwood. Rikki especially enjoyed times at the family cabin in Lincoln, four wheeling, fishing, and the occasional Whiskey Pepsi. She deeply enjoyed the time she spent with her niece, Audrey Gilchrist and nephew Owen Gilchrist. She was the BEST AUNT ever.Rikki is survived by her parents, Rick and Laurie Gilchrist; brother Bradley; favorite sister-in-law, Tawnya; niece Audrey; nephew Owen; her special boyfriend Zach, who brought so much joy into her life this past year; grandfather Galyn Gilchrist; grandmothers Karen Shadrick and Pat Cislo; and many loving aunts; uncles; and cousins.She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Cislo; step-grandmother Virginia Gilchrist; and step-grandfather Dave Shadrick.Donations may be made to the Montana Hope Project in Rikkis honor. She was the recipient of a granted wish at the age of 17 and took her whole family to Disney World. It was the trip of a lifetime.
