Robert "Bob" Battleson

Robert Bob Lloyd Battleson Sr., 63, of Great Falls, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at his residence.A memorial service will be Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Bob was born on December 3, 1952 to Rosmary and William Bill Battleson in Great Falls, Montana. After graduation, he got ASE certified as an auto mechanic. He worked at Jerry Noble Tires, Sears, and Automotive Machine. He retired in 2007.He married Debbie Westfall in Stanford, Montana on October 2, 1971. They were married for 45 years.Bob loved spending time with his grandkids, working on cars, chopping firewood, and going to the cabin in Augusta. He also drag raced in Lewistown and loved his animals. Pedro was his buddy.He is survived by his wife, Debbie of Great Falls; sons Robert Battleson and Steven Battleson of Great Falls; brothers Dan Battleson of Butte and Mike Battleson of Great Falls; sister Becky Darland of Mt. Vernon, WA; and grandchildren Sean, Zach, and Max Battleson.Bob was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Bill.
