Robert "Bob" Hansen

Robert Lee Bob Hansen, 69, of Cascade, Montana, passed away April 15, 2017, of natural causes.Bob was born December 24, 1947 to Betty C. and Caroll W. Hansen in Minot, North Dakota. Bob grew up in Great Falls, graduating from high school in 1966. He attended the University of Montana for a short time before moving to Washington to work for Boeing.He returned to Great Falls, where he met Connie Stevenson. They were married in 1978. They eventually moved to a peaceful place near the Missouri River by Cascade, where their children and pets had room to roam. Bob and Connie were blessed with two sons, Dustin Robert and Corey Bryan. All of Bobs family was important to him, but his sons were his pride and joy. Grandchildren were icing on the cake.A salesman by trade, Bob traveled Montana and surrounding states for over 30 years before retiring in 2008.His idea of a good day was sunshine, fresh air and at least one red dog by his side. He valued friendships and retained many of his childhood friends throughout his life. Oh, the stories they could tell.Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Connie; sons Dustin (Darla) Hansen of Falcon Heights, MN and Corey Hansen of Cascade, MT; daughter Tracie Hansen; grandchildren Abigail, Sean, Katelyn and Conner; sisters Cleo Gray and Lorraine (Jim) Llopis; brother Bill (Sande) Hansen; and several nieces and nephews.Memorial service will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cascade. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Memorials in Bobs name may be made to the charity of your choice.
